My HA Configuration... This is what I run for production in my house.

This basically puts TDMGR from (https://github.com/jziolkowski/tdm) into a local Docker container. For more information on TDMGR and Tasmota, see those sites.

Python Script for sending 12 W1 1 wire sensors into a Home Assistant Instance via MQTT Discovery.

A variation of my PI controlled Temp / status monitors. This has DHT22 sensors, 2-wire sensors, Thermocouples, and MQTT control of a binary sensor/GPIO pin. Send data to a Home Assistant Instance via MQTT Discovery. Send a command from HA via MQTT and change a GPIO on the PI.

Use a Raspberry PI connected to one or more temperature sensors to send the results to a Home Assistant Instance via MQTT Discovery.
